Growth of sales as the biggest challenge for Retailers in Poland - 2018 generated huge legal changes in the functioning of stores in Poland. From March 2018, a ban on trading for 2 Sundays monthly was introduced.

2019 will be even more difficult, because from January 1 stores can be open only 1 Sunday in a month. Discounters, such as Biedronka and Lidl, focused their activities on intense advertising to attract Shoppers to shopping on Fridays and Saturdays. We have to admit that they have succeeded, but they are not able to fully use their potential. In the film you can see the recurring situation in Lidl, where at the end of the week, very often there is a out of stock. The problem may be too small orders of goods, because very often shop systems are not able to identify when during the day, goods end in expositions. The control in the IT system is often not enough, because it's impossible to distinguish the goods in the warehouse from the goods on the shelf, and each store has virtual stock (product was lost or sold with the wrong code). It can be seen that Retailers must focus on controlling the availability of products on the shelves. It can be done, thanks photo recognition systems, such as PRO.Display.
